Hitting a Slump

One of the main reasons for a stoppage in results is that you’re not practicing the fundamentals. Understand you can work your way out of it. You can always get more money, but you can never get back time. Life is full of cycles. They don’t last forever, so take it a day at a time.

When you constantly put your life in the “Have-to land”, you put yourself in a position of pressure. When you live your life from a position of “Choose-To”, you are in a position of power. Decide to shift your focus. Make every activity a conscious choice. When you constantly make better choices you create better habits. These better habits produce better character. When you have better character you add more value to the world. Remember your dominant thoughts usually win out when it comes to every day decisions. Success takes effort and consistent focused activity

Acquire knowledge so its application is used toward some worthwhile end. This is the reason why university degrees are not guarantees of successful careers. If you seek additional knowledge, first determine the purpose for which you want to gain the knowledge you are seeking.

When people have no vision for the future, they tend to do three things

– revert to their past

– spend all their time making excuses for why their lives are going no-where

– stop living and settle for merely existence.

Human nature is such that unless you have a clear picture of your future, you will always return to your past

to show us, because they’re so proud of what they have achieved)

How are we meeting the needs in the lives of others?

Adversity

One of the main weaknesses of business owners is the average person’s familiarity with the word ‘impossible.’ No-one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality. Every adversity that you have brings with it a seed of an equivalent advantage. Look for it and you will see it. Keep your mind closed and you will miss another opportunity.

Millions of people believe themselves ‘doomed’ to poverty and failure because they believe they have no control. They are the creators of their own misfortune, because of their negative belief, which is picked up by the sub-conscious.

Have positive affirmations.

Your sub conscious does not know right from wrong. Your sub conscious mind recognizes and acts only upon thoughts that have been mixed with emotion or feeling. Get your sub-conscious to go to work for you. Give it the information you need and will help you. It doesn’t know right from wrong so give it good information and it will churn out a good answer

Three enemies you will have to clear out before being successful

Indecision,

doubt

fear.

Indecision is the seedling of fear. Fear is nothing more than a state of mind. Fear of poverty is a state of mind, nothing else. If you want riches in business, you must refuse to accept any circumstances that lead toward poverty.

· Worry is a state of mind based upon fear.

· Worry is a form of sustained fear caused by indecision.

Most individuals lack willpower to reach decisions promptly and stand by them.

Keep your mind closed to all people who depress or discourage you in any way. Seek people who influence you to think and act for yourself. Successful people have successful habits. Take time off to think about your goals, your business – whatever.

I know some people who take half a day a week just to think. This will give you unusual clarity. Especially if times are tough, by thinking positively about your future and planning to do something about it, will help you succeed. Most importantly you will learn more about life and your capacity to succeed when you are uncomfortable. Often when your back is up against the wall of fear, the greatest breakthroughs occur. For example, if you really want to rise to the top, invest 1 hour every day to learn more about yourself and your industry. Developing this single habit can make you an expert within 5 years

Most of the time fear only exists in our minds. Our imagination is powerful. Step into your fear. Unfinished business is an on-going reality. Every week something happens that needs to be resolved. Don’t allow things to fester. Everything you want is on the other side of fear.

To overcome fear you must have faith in the outcome. Confidence is required at the height of your fear. One of the most common causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat. Everyone is guilty of this mistake at one time or another. Failure is a trickster, with a keen sense of irony and cunning. It takes great delight in tripping one up when success is almost within reach.

Fear of failure-

Been burnt in the past is 80% of the reason why people don’t buy

Fear of rejection is 80% of the reason why salespeople don’t sell
