Tony stood at the door, fully aware that Steve would be right on time. And, as expected, Steve strode up the path with that unmistakable broad smile on his face. His deep, gravelly voice filled the air as he greeted Tony, extending a firm handshake.

“Did dinner with Jayne go well?” Steve asked, his words cutting straight to the point, even before stepping inside.

Tony, caught off guard by the directness, hesitated for a moment. “Ah, it was wonderful. We haven’t done that in years—actually sitting down, just the two of us, talking with no interruptions. No phone, no drawings. Jayne was thrilled, and honestly, so was I. Especially after what happened when we retired to the bedroom that night!”

Steve burst into hearty laughter. “You’re not the first to tell me that! Now, where’s my coffee? I’ve brought the biscuits.”

Tony, chuckling, brought out two steaming mugs of coffee and joined Steve at the table.

“Alright, Tony,” Steve began, his tone growing serious. “We’re going to dive into your ‘Profit Chain’ today. We need to pinpoint the weak link that’s holding your business back.”
